"LOCUTUS THE DOOFUS!"
Locutus has many names, such as "Golden Boy", "LoLo", "Locutus the Doofus", "Locuteness" and "Dorkus Malorkus" Many of which are used by the children as he does many silly things.
Locutus is quite the cat. Perhaps the most entertaining cat we've ever had, and he's quite the sweetheart. I've never seen kids so taken by a cat and his craziness that they can laugh and laugh and laugh, no matter what he's doing. Locutus has taken so well to children, and loves to play with them. Every day he follows the kids until they play with him. He especially loves it when they drag a long, shredded sheet across the floor for him to attack and hitch a ride.
Locutus also LOVES faces. And I mean LOVES them. When he is in his snuggly mood, he can't get enough of faces. He loves to rub his face in our face. He'll walk back and forth from one person's lap to the next, because he just HAS to rub everyone's face. Sometimes he'll just give you that "look" when he's across the room and then suddenly BOLT at you at full speed and pounce into your lap and maul your face with love and snuggles.
Laurana has been practicing her patience with the cats, by sitting still and waiting for the cats to come over. Sure enough these kitties will all "kitty pile" on top of Laurana's lap and nap while she watches cartoons. This is one of Laurana's most touching moments with the cats.
Savannahs LOVE laps. It's their favorite spot to rest in the afternoon and evening. However they aren't your typical lap cat, because these kitties are BOUNDING with energy (thus they are not called 'lap cats' but it doesn't mean they wont sleep in your lap) and they'll get into everything if you don't help them expand that energy, such as using cat wands and toys.
